AMS IX Connect Service

Requirements

• Requires a cloud infrastructure plan that supports IX connectivity

• IX port traffic is never billed. If you notice any charges, contact us immediately

• One-time setup fees are non-refundable

• Port types:

  • 1G and below → VMBR bridged

  • 1G–10G → Direct port

• Monthly fees cover host port rental, maintenance, and optical module rental/maintenance

• Please confirm you meet IX access conditions before purchase

Service Scope

• We provide a dedicated port connected to your chosen IX

• Any other requirements (e.g., obtaining a LOA from the IX) must be completed before purchase

• If you arrange a remote hand yourself (someone to access the data center to make the physical connections), you only pay €10 setup fee + normal monthly port rental (MRC)

• Otherwise, we provide the remote hand service as part of the setup fee

Important Information

• We do not resell IX services. This service only provides physical access and connectivity to your chosen IX.

• Customers are responsible for any agreements, fees, or permissions required by the IX (e.g., LOA, membership, or contract).

• Some IX connections require annual contracts with L2 link providers. Paying upfront guarantees the prices above; otherwise, monthly fees may increase by 15–20%.

• For the solutions that involve contracts, please open a sales ticket or email our sales team for further details.

• Ensure you meet all IX access conditions before requesting this service.
